So… thanks to some input by a commenter named Andrew and the fact that his PC didn’t want to run one of the commands in Lighty2Go, the change.com function/command has been removed and Lighty2Go is now back to a set-up that is more like the first 2 releases that didn’t contain change.com.

So version 0.8 of Lighty2Go is ready and with this release (and all releases after this) I have added a system traytool, based on the Aestan System Traytool to use for managing Lighty2Go.

Following the release of LightTPD 1.4.18 and WLMP’s port to Windows version 0.7 of Lighty2Go has been updated to Lighty 1.4.18 and is ready to be downloaded.

OK folks another quick release v0.5. Nothing much changed here except for going back to using PsTools to check and stop the servers.
Using these tools makes Light2Go Windows 2000 compatible.

Thanks to some comments and internet searching by a visitor named “Lighty2K” Lighty2Go starting with v0.5 and higher have been re-packaged with the respective PsTools for checking and stopping the server processes. By using (older versions of) these tools again this corrects the issue of incompatible commands that didn’t work with Windows 2000.
