Installer/Configurator + HeidiSQL + FileZilla Client + FTP Server + POP3/SMTP Server
Hello,

I'm a webdeveloper and fall in love with your work. It's more clean than XAMPP and it's direction is portable deployment.

I have the suggestion to add an SMTP/POP3 Server, FTP Server, HeidiSQL Portable, Firefox Portable, Thunderbird Portable, Filezilla Client Portable, Notepad++ Portable and Gimp.

On the future could be more flexible to add/remove anothers DBs like Firebird, PostgreSQL...

I want to help and I'm working on SMTP/POP3 standalone server and FTP server.

I'm one of HeidiSQL developers. I really love and like the phpMyAdmin, but the HS is more "fast" to use.

The idea is to have a simple and running webdevelopment environment easy-to-use or all-in-on.

RE: Installer/Configurator + HeidiSQL + FileZilla Client + FTP Server + POP3/SMTP Server
Hey fco.ernesto -- Sorry a reply took so long - I was on vacation for a bit.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions - we should definitely share some ideas to push L2G further.
A standalone SMTP/POP3 server woul dbe an excellent addition.
An FTP server would be an excellent addition too.
Is "HeidiSQL" portable? - if it can run portable I would definitely be interested in adding it in.

Let me check out HeidiSQL and keep me posted on your SMTP/POP3 and FTp servers --
I think we can put together a very cool development environment.

Thanks
--Tom

The portable version of HeidiSQL are as per below

http://portableapps.com/node/12289
and

http://pon.fr/heidisql-manager-de-bases-...ees-mysql/

This addition would really look good. any plans to integrate portable firefox 3.1 of k-meleon into this just like server2go. It may look a bulge but you have a complete package instead of relying on external browsers.

Never thought of adding in a browser - but I guess I could.
And also add in FTP server and some other stuff...

RE: Installer/Configurator + HeidiSQL + FileZilla Client + FTP Server + POP3/SMTP Server
Hi, tom!

First I say sorry about my late.

Today I finished some deeper tests on Notepad++ and I could send to you on Monday, after more tests.

Another thing, I created a googlecode project called Lighty2Go as you could see here: http://code.google.com/p/lighty2go/

So, my idea is to recreate the traytool using the Lazarus (so the api could be run on linux, windows and osx). And add the anothers things.

On this google we could put the changes on default configurations and, on traytool we could put one configurator, to user change the things.

You could download a preview of Lighty2Go main application launcher: http://netinho.info/lighty2go/lighty2go.zip

So, could you send to me your google email user?

Cya,

Francisco Ernesto Teixeira
